Profile and Credentials

Since our 1985 launch, Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy has played a significant role in garnering respect for massage therapy within the healthcare, athletic and spa communities. We constantly assess, define, and revise our curriculum to meet the standards expected by clients, doctors, and therapists.

Students from CIMT have the opportunity to do clinical internships at Capron Rehabilitation Center, Penrose Hospital, Namaste Alzheimer's Center, UCCS Sports Medicine Department and other fine healthcare facilities. Skilled LMTs trained in medical and injury rehabilitation, such as CIMT graduates, can help fulfill the growing needs of the healthcare industry: preventative, injury rehabilitation, and maintenance care.

Our graduates reflect CIMT's high standards in our community, and throughout the country. They not only help people through massage, but as professional businesspeople. And clients report these qualities to their primary care providers.
