Philosophy and Comments

There are many different approaches to counseling and therapy. My approach is based on a deep respect for the person and the belief that the relationship between the counselor and the client is of primary importance. It is the client who knows what hurts and who has the capacity within the safety of a therapeutic relationship, to begin the healing process. The essential qualities which I believe create a safe, supportive and challenging therapeutic environment include: * A deep acceptance of the person. * A wish to understand that person. * A commitment to being genuine in the relationship. I know that by working together in a trusting and respectful relationship, we can bring about personal growth and fulfillment.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

My regulars hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST. Accommodations can be made for appointments beyond this schedule, in order to meet your special needs. Private consultation fees are: $60 per hour, $35 for 30 minutes or less and $20 per email question, with a guaranteed response within 24 hours. Consultation fees to Corporations are $250/hour plus expenses, if applicable.
