Thank you for your interest in the International Association of Transpersonal Therapists and Physicians (IATTP)! We are an organization of Therapists, Doctors, Naturopaths, Hypnotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Osteopaths, Holistic Practitioners, Hands-on Healers, etc., who use a Transpersonal approach in their practices.
Transpersonal practitioners work “across the personality,” incorporating a client’s body, mind, and spirit into treatment and helping clients heal the root cause of a complaint instead of simply treating the symptoms. Come join us!

IATTP was co-founded by Charisse Barksdale, PhD(abd), CEO and Jennifer L. Johnson, MHt, CFO. They have over 30 years combined experience in the field of transpersonal healthcare and focus on a mind-body-spirit approach. They are both Master Hypnotherapists, Hypnotherapy Instructors, & Life Between Lives Spiritual Regression Therapists/Instructors (according to the methods of Michael Newton, PhD). In addition, Ms. Barksdale is currently finishing her PhD in Natural Health, and Ms. Johnson is a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher.
IATTP was formed when the founders identified the need for an international organization to help Transpersonal & Holistic Practitioners expand their knowledge (while receiving continuing education units [CEU's] for natural healthcare study), share their expertise, & continue to legitimize holistic and transpersonal healthcare.
We offer professional education & certifications, and we have an annual conference (this year: Sept. 16-18, Virginia Beach, VA) with multiple training classes & opportunities. Check our website for complete information!

The Mission of the International Association of Transpersonal Therapists & Physicians (IATTP) is threefold:
- to provide training ands continuing education to professionals who work with clients across all aspects of their lives: physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual;
- to provide a forum for these professionals to share their knowledge & expertise with others in the field of transpersonal healthcare; and
- to provide professional support and keep our members abreast of information that may effect their transpersonal healthcare practices.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: * Completed application form;* Certification/Licensure in a transpersonal healthcare field with at least 100 hours worth of training;* Copies of all applicable training certificates & diplomas (enclosed with application);* Attendance at the IATTP Instructor Policies & Ethics Training Course (a one day class);* To qualify for this membership type, you must provide IATTP with a course outline for review (no less than 100 hours) including cost, dates, and $45 per student (covers student’s first year of Professional Membership at Student rate) for every class you want certified through IATTP. NOTE: All courses will be approved individually & certifications will not be issued until course is approved. Courses need to be submitted in advance & will be reviewed on the 15th of each month. You will receive a letter notifying you whether or not your course is approved. RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS: * 40 hours of continuing education per year.
