As a midwife, I find most satisfaction in facilitating a birthing woman's self-discovery of her unique way of birthing, escorting and guiding her through the waves of opening up, and reflecting her inner strength and confidence back to her as she navigates her unique way of bringing her child into the world. This experience is very empowering, and promotes bonding and cohesiveness of the family unit.
As an ARNP and specialist in women’s health, I also provide comprehensive women’s healthcare from adolescence through menopause including primary healthcare; annual exams; diagnosis and treatment of irregular cycles, infections or other female ailments; contraception; sexual health education and counseling. I specialize in hormone balance (infertility, PCOS, Metabolic Syndrome).
My office is at Amazing Births and Beyond in Boca Raton, Florida, where I facilitate mind-body-spirit prenatal workshops on The Kabbalah of Birth.

It is been my privilege and honor to have been a women's healthcare provider for over 30 years, during which I have attended over 1800 births in homes, hospitals and birth centers as a private midwife, with Licensed Professional Midwives and as a MD/CNM team member in OB/GYN practices.

My formal training was completed at New York Columbia University advanced midwifery program at North Central Bronx Hospital and at Hadassah School of Nursing (Israel). Following master level studies in women's health, midwifery, gynecology, pharmacology, newborn resuscitation, lactation counseling, endocrinology and alternative healing, and passing the ACNM national boards, I was certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and became a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. I am licensed in Florida as an Advanced Registered-Nurse Practitioner in women's health.
Before becoming certified as a CNM in 1989, I worked as an R.N., doula, and childbirth educator. During these years I also gave birth naturally to ten children.
I currently am the Clinical and Risk Assessment Director at Miami Maternity Center.

Kabbalah, an ancient branch of mysticism drawn from Jewish biblical sources, is unique in that its application is in the physical world.
The Kabbalah, which translates as “receiving”, necessitates receptacles similar to bowls - or the womb. Through meditations on Kabala, the physical state of being a vessel, such as pregnancy, can be appreciated on many more levels than the physical.
Moreover, a physical state such as pregnancy can be drawn upon to understand mystical concepts that can illuminate our lives. The physical states can thus be elevated to spiritual.
This 6-part monthly workshop series will touch upon Kabbalistic Teachings of Procreation
with respect to Conception, Pregnancy, Labor, Birth, and Lactation.
