The Natchz Trace Maternity Center is a not-for-profit, free standing birth center in middle Tennessee. Our mission is to provide a safe, home-like place for women to recieve quality care during pregnancy, birth and beyond. Our services include pre-natal care, delivery of babies, family planning, well woman care and support for the breastfeeding mother.

The Natchez Trace Maternity Center is licensed with the State of Tennessee and accredited by the Commision for the Accreditation of Birth Centers. The birth center uses Certified Nurse Midwives to provide care.

Here at the Natchez Trace Maternity Center we strive to provide the best care possible with the least amount of intervention. The women we serve are encouraged to be an active in their care during pregnancy and birth. Each woman is free to labor as she chooses without being confined to a bed or attached to monitoring devices.

The birth center also offers the option of having a water birth. Both our room are equipped with large jacuzzi tubs donated by AquaGlass.

In addition our midwives are credentialed Hardin Medical Center - Savannah, Tennessee, for those who need or desire to have their babies deliverd at a hospital.
