The National Meditation Center for World Peace is heavily involved in Asian arts with programs in Asian culture, Martial arts, Meditation, and Buddhism, and focuses on Youth and cultural advocacy. The center is usually humming with activity with people running around barefoot in Japanese kudogis and has regular classes in Jujitsu and Karate, on Sunday Dharma training. We have programs in youth and cultural advocacy. The Center is lead by Master Hughes a leading authority in Asian culture and Meditation. Other programs such as cultural classes are available too.

The center has a certified CHW Community health worker certified by the Texas department of health. Programs in health, rape prevention and anti child abuse are offered as well as Spanish and tagalo translation . The center is actually a community center involved in Humanitarian work and is registered as a peace center. People from all walks of life come to the center, Buddhist, Christians, martial artists even yoga practitioners. Making it the only public cultural center in the area.We invite all of yu to be involved. The center is recognized by numerous agencies and known for there humanitarian work. The center encourages asian studies buddhism, shintoism and taoism. and volunteers to Asia . We put together trips to the Philippines for groups.
