My name is Patricia Durbin-Ruiz. I have been an accomplished dancer for the past 13 years in NYC and have been dancing since the age of four. Physical training and dance are fused together by their relationship to the human body, its well being and need for strength. This is what sparked my interest in the fitness industry. I have been working as a personal trainer since 1995. I have a BS in Dance and Pre-Physical therapy from Kansas State University. I am a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council of Exercise (ACE) as well as Pre/postnatal fitness through Healthy Moms®. I also hold certifications in Yoga, Pilates, and Resist-A-Ball. I am unique in my training style because I incorporate weights, Yoga, Pilates, Physio-balls, bands and tubing to align and strengthen your body. I have first hand experience in pre/postnatal training as I am a new mother myself. I have trained all ages and fitness levels, as well as dealt with injuries and physical limitations. I believe I can meet your fitness needs.
