It is understood in Chinese Medicine, that Early Morning exercise by an Ocean, is extra healthy. 7:30 to 8:30 am every day, (six weekly) with Tues. off, we meet for cultivating our Internal Healing Energy! Some exercises are done standing while others are to slowly learn a beautiful series of moves. Mantak Chia certified Raven Cohan in 1983. Raven supports you with patience so you can balance, align and be mentally, emotionally as well as physically more stable. More and more doctors and scientists are conceding there is a special internal energy! Come find it!
Profile and Credentials
Raven is a certified Tai Chi-Chi Kung Instructor since 1983. Besides Chi Kung (Qigong, alternate spelling), she builds soothingly positive messages into her ongoing classes. Raven has written an 11 song CD entitled, “Jazz-UP CHI-Songs to Inspire and Tickle Ya.” A live show of the songs are fun to listen to and the audience can choose to participate in learning some easy exercise… Or just be Edu-tained like many groups of all ages, from Girl Scouts to Seniors, who have enjoyed the show!
Work Hours and Fee Schedule
1. Join Daily 7:30 am Beach Tai Chi-Chi Kung, Hour-long classes are 6 days weekly, (Tues is off). Weds. Class is 108 Yang Form by invitation only. Mon. class features Chinese Yoga known as Tao Yin. Yes! Sat. & Sun., too! Dress for weather.
2. Mon. NIGHT 6:30 to 7:45 pm class, It's at same location. (Sunset energy is powerful as well.
3. Sunday 10:00-11:30 am class BEHIND Community Center at 1301 S. Ocean Drive, a beige building just south of Hollywood by two lights and at Azalea St. (It is three to five minutes north of Hallandale Beach Blvd.) This is at a park with sunshade. If it rains we go to the front of the building in the covered driveway.
(Beach 7:30 am and Mon. night class at 6:30-7:45 pm is on Franklin St. near the lifeguard stand. Rain location at 314 Oak St., Hollywood, 33019. Franklin is between Sheridan and Dania Bch. Blvd. off A1A. Park at meters on Perry St. BRING QUARTERS.)
