Rosen Method uses gentle, deep touch that focuses on chronic, often unconscious, muscle tension. Using hands that listen rather than manipulate, the practitioner gives the client feedback through which comes a greater body awareness. In this awareness comes the possibility of transformation. As the muscle tension changes and the breath shifts, the client begins to recognize what has been unconsciously hidden for so long.
The simple act of becoming conscious of the muscular holding initiates the process of healing. Lifelong habits and experiences that include pain, stress, and self limiting behaviors transform into new possibilities with a greater sense of well being, aliveness, and new life choices.
