As a result of our continuing research into state-of-the-art solutions to indoor environment problems and sustainability, we have many products, systems, and methods available.

Paul T. Novack, Founder and Operating Manager, is a graduate of Penn State University and has 30 years of residential and commercial building experience. He has been resourcing, defining, and selling environmentally friendly building products since 1991.

Paul is considered one of the leading experts in the field of ecologically correct and non-toxic construction materials, with his consulting services being sought by architects, builders and end users.

Paul is working closely with the medical profession and environmental scientists in creating non-toxic environments for their patients.

Paul has also consulted for many magazines and has been featured in numerous articles and TV shows. In addition to consulting, Paul has lectured to universities such as Columbia, Temple, Pratt, and F.I.T and many health organizations.

For over 15 years ECO of NY has been monitoring the issues related to safer, healthier, and environmentally responsible building products and systems.

To specialize in the greening of homes and work places for those people with chemical sensitivities, allergies, asthmas, cancer and other related illnesses, so they can live or work in a non-toxic environment.

To make available to the developer, architect, designer, contractor, and homeowner alternative materials that comply with the LEEDS program of the U.S. Green Building Council.

E.C.O of New York will only represent products and systems that meet our environment criteria. All products must be of high quality and superior functionality. We will not sell any product or system that we have not tested or field experienced.

All of our products must be environmentally responsible, falling into the categories of hypo-allergenic, natural, sustainable, and recycled. We select products using a cradle to cradle evaluation. Each product is analyzed with respect to its environmental impact on health issues, durability, performance, waste disposal, recyclability, resource depletion, and energy conservation and/or consumption.

Many so-called "non-toxic" or "green" products may not be as responsible as claimed, these products will not meet our standards and will not be sold by E.C.O. Through our continuing research, we'll add, replace, and delete products to have the proper product base and to maintain our high standards.
