I believe in birth as a sacred, empowering event in a woman's life. I believe women were created to birth naturally, without medical or surgical intervention in almost all cases. I believe breastfeeding is the optimal choice for baby's nutrition, health, bonding, and emotional and spiritual development. I believe good mothering begins with breastfeeding.

I am available as a childbirth instructor on a flexible schedule, with classtimes arranged on a weekly basis meeting either in the evenings or on weekends. As a doula, or professional labor assistant, I am on-call 24/7 for the one month period surrounding the mother's estimated due date. Contact me for details on fees.
