Birth is a normal, natural and healthy life process for which I hold deep respect. Equal respect is held for the birthing mother and her instincts.
As a Certified Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator, Reiki practitioner,and a student of midwifery, I offer both labor support doula services and childbirth preparation. Classes in Mindful Childbirth based on Birthing From Within are offered in groups or privately. Labor support workshops are also available as a supplement to other childbirth education or as a refresher course.
As a doula I provide continous and unconditional labor support for the birthing mother and her choices.

I have worked in and around birth for a number of years and cannot seem to get enough of this energy. I am a Certified Labor Support Doula and a Certified Childbirth Educator as well as a Reiki practitioner. My experiences have also included work as a Post-Partum Doula. My greatest acheivement has been the mothering of two daughters

I belive in the power of the birthing mother's instincts and respect each woman's ability and right to make her own choices regarding birth. Birth is a rite of passage for women and holds the ability to empower us not only as mothers but as people. It is even more fulfilling when it can happen in a spirit of mindfulness. It is my goal to mentor expectant mothers through this intense and incredible transition.
