Capsoul is trio from the Toledo,OH currently playing and recording alternative/indie music in Midwest U.S. Members include Kate Derkachuk(vocals,lyrics), Tom Burke (guitar), and Rostik Dennenburg (bass,drums,guitar). Kate and Rostik were both born in Kiev, Ukraine. Capsoul will sometimes perform as a trio or w/ full a band but, these three remain the core. The music is unique in the fact that it is what it is. There is no predetermined trendy style in mind when its being made. The best thing about the music is that it doesn't lie.

All three members have and continue to study music. Kate began her music study in South Africa where she practiced classical guitar and vocal lessons. She has played in bands and sang in South Africa, Ukraine, and the U.S. Tom started playing guitar at fifteen, taking lessons at durdell's music then moving on to study jazz theory w/ acomplished teacher Gene Parker. Tom Has been playing clubs in Ohio and Michigan for the past six years. Rostik has managed to study a great deal on the three instruments he plays. Since the age of thirteen Rostik began studing classical and has more recently moved on to areas of jazz theory and improv.

Capsoul usually performs Wednesday and Saturday nights. But is always open depending on the circumstances. Fees are negotiable.
