Dr. McHugh received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from California Graduate Institute in 1996 and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1992 and Bachlors Degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University in 1990. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and has been in the field for over 17 years.

Dr McHugh specializes in chemical dependency and behavioral medicine and utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to therapy, although utilizes many other approaches as well to fit each patient's needs.

Dr McHugh has 5 office locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The office hours are 8am-9pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 8am-5pm.

Most insurance plans are accepted, along with medical and will consider sliding scale fee schedule. The office locations:
