Philosophy and Comments

Michelle truly believes the body, on all levels - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - has the amazing capacity to heal itself if given the proper tools. It is also her belief that everything we need is provided for us within nature: people, plants, animals, etc.

Licensed Massage Practitioner

Swedish:
Massage therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. It is also an alternative health option to help alleviate the soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular overuse and many chronic pain syndromes.

Some people visit a massage therapist to relieve pain or to warm up before a sporting event. Others want to relax and reduce stress.

Thai:
A complete Thai massage incorporates a traditional combination of acupressure, energy meridian work, and yoga-like stretching. Thai massage is different from many Western forms of massage in that it is more energizing and rigorous, there is no oil used, the therapist uses a padded mat on the floor (instead of a massage table), and that the client remains completely clothed throughout the session. Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work.

Thai massage is the perfect complement to any exercise routine and is suitable for clients of all ages and abilities. The classic Thai massage routine can be varied to suit a wide range of physical needs, and can be used as a form of physical therapy to aid in the increase of range of motion and muscular strength.

Pregnancy Massage:
Massage during pregnancy not only makes a woman feel pampered, but offers undeniable physical benefits as well. Massage can relieve fatigue, enhance sleep, and calm an active baby.

During the entire term of pregnancy, massage can stimulate blood flow, which may assist in the prevention of anemia. An increase in muscle tone and flexibility will occur, alleviating leg cramps and muscle spasms.

Massage during pregnancy is also a great way to relieve everyday tension and the general aches and pains your body is suffering. It stimulates your lymphatic system, increasing immunity and the removal of excess toxins, while also stabilizing hormonal levels and balancing the glandular system.

Couple's Massage:
Two therapists will provide a relaxing massage at the same time for you and someone special. Both of you will enjoy a luxurious experience in a spacious room with soft lights, soothing music and aromatherapy.

Great experience to share with your husband, wife, daughter, mother, or friend.

Certified Reflexologist

Reflexology is an ancient method of activating the body's inherent healing abilities. It is both an art and a science involving thumb and finger techniques working the reflexes and zones on the feet, hands and ears believed to correspond with all the organs and systems of the body to bring about homeostasis. The feet are more commonly used in reflexology than other parts of the body because their reflexes are more responsive.

The effects of regular reflexology sessions are cumulative. A session is one hour long during which, the client will be comfortably reclined with only shoes and socks removed.

Reflex Raindrop:
In a Reflex Raindrop session you'll receive a one hour Reflexology session followed by a mini Raindrop session on your feet while you sit back and relax. Enjoy the benefits of reflexology and pure therapeutic grade essential oils.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique is a powerful, non-invasive tool integrating the art of aromatherapy with the technique of Vitaflex in the application of 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils to various areas of the body.

The purpose of Raindrop Technique is to stimulate every organ, muscle, and bone at the cellular level through the oils, boosting the various body systems, bringing the body into structural and electrical balance, and enabling the release of toxins wherever they may be lodged - including those illnesses lodged in the mind and emotions.

During your Raindrop session, a sequence of highly antimicrobial essential oils designed to simultaneously reduce inflammation and kill the viral agents that cause spinal misalignments and pain are applied to the feet and dropped onto the back like little drops of rain. A Raindrop session lasts an hour and for the vast majority of clients their experience is a pleasant sense of improved well-being, relaxation and, in some cases, chronic ailments have fallen away immediately or have disappeared soon after the session. Other sequences of oils can be used to balance the emotions.

Reconnective Healing & Reiki II Practitioner

Reconnective Healing:
Reconnective Healing is often a life-changing experience, utilizing new frequencies to allow for the healing of the body, mind, and spirit. Vastly different from Reiki, Johrei, Jin Shin, Qi Gong or Pranic Healing, Reconnective Healing is beyond any technique you've ever encountered.

These highly palpable energies are initiated by your Reconnective Healing Practitioner at the start of your session, and continue working with you long after your visit has ended. Through your participation in these sessions, you will be forever changed, operating at, and attuned to, a higher frequency than ever before.

Reiki:
A simple translation of the Japanese word Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is Universal Life Energy. A Reiki practitioner focuses this energy and directs it through their hands. The concentrated flow of this energy accelerates the processes in the body to heal and balance the body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is an intelligent energy that goes where it is needed most supporting the highest good of the individual and the situation.

A Reiki session lasts for an hour. It is generally experienced as gentle, peaceful, and relaxing. Since Reiki works where and how it is needed, experiences differ. During the session the receiver lies or sits in a comfortable position while the practitioner allows his or her hands to rest gently for three to five minutes or more in each of a number of positions that correspond to the major organs, chakras, and endocrine glands of the body. There is no need to disrobe as this energy flows through clothing and even casts.
