Dr. Huang studied Chinese Medicine from a combined Chinese and Western Medicine Program at Nantong Medical College of China in early 70's. Later he earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Shanghai Brain Research Institute. After coming to the U.S., Dr. Huang worked as a faculty member of the Department of Anatomy at University of Virginia (1989-1992)and the Department of Anatomy of the George Washington University (1992-2002).
Dr. Huang is a certified acupuncturist and licensed in District of Columbia and Commonwealth of Virginia. He runs the Huang's Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Clinic in Washington, DC and Herndon, Virgina. He is also affiliated with the Center for Integrative Medicine of GWU Medical Center to treat patients and supervise medical students and interns. He is also a Guest Professor of Nantong Medical College of China. He is a member of American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM), Society of Acupuncture Research (SAR) and Board member of American Tai Chi Association.
