Soul Friends, Inc is a nonprofit established to provide innovative clinical and educational programs that promote the healing benefits of the human-animal bond.

Soul Friends provides individual and group psychotherapy which incorporates the healing presence of therapy animals.

Kate Nicoll, MSW, LCSW is the founder and Executive Director of Soul Friends. She is a clinical social worker with more than 17 years of experience working with children and families coping with loss, trauma, grief and illness. She is the author of Soul Friends: Finding Healing with Animals, a narrative nonfiction book exploring the benefits of human-animal companionship.

Soul Friends' clinical staff believes in the healing capacity of animals to reach us at a "soul-level". We provide supportive counseling to children living with mental,social, physical and emotional challenges. In partnering with the animals, we can allow these children to experience positive moments in the present - and build new skills in empathy, communication and connection.

Soul Friends provides clinical and educational services Monday-Friday, Saturdays once a month. clinical services are billed to insurance, and grant funded programs are also available.
