Originally from Tennessee, Lanis spent her childhood years in Tampa, returning in 1986 after living in Daytona in the 70's and West Palm Beach in the 80's. Due to her multi-faceted professional experiences in the performing arts, radio & television, advertising & interior decorating, Lanis considers herself a life long student of creativity and self-improvement. She earned her real estate license in 1996 and feels honored to be among a growing group of realtors utilizing an exciting new paradigm in real estate called Feng Shui (pronounced fung shway). As the psychological nature to buying and selling property is being more understood, the application of Feng Shui in real estate is being appreciated. People are becoming more aware of their environmental connections and Feng Shui is a wonderful tool to help create properties that support balanced lifestyles.

Lanis conducts "Design Your Life" awareness workshops focusing on the value of decluttering and designing the home/office with the art of Feng Shui. In a multi-author collaboration, she co-authored the book "Show Me, Teach Me, Heal Me, A Beginners Guide For Natural Answers" which featured an introduction to Feng Shui. In 2006, she began a home showcasing service for real estate called "ON STAGE!". She became Florida's first real estate agent to receive the designation Certified Feng Shu Real Estate Professional, as a result of reciving certification through Feng Shui Master Suzee Miller's Professional Certification for Real Estate Program. This program incorporates 9 schools of Feng Shui and has proven to be very effective preparing properties to sell quickly. She has assisted other real estate professionals to showcase their properties with feng shui enhancements.



Lanis has also channeled her love of art into creating decorative paint finishes, murals, and trompe l'oeil for businesses and luxury homes in Florida. She is a PDRA Certified Faux Finisher.

She incorporates Feng Shui principles in her creation of unique hand painted home accessories/furniture under the name LaPaChi currently being sold in upscale art boutiques.

Lanis serves as board member and volunteer Research Director for the Love Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization that founded the Global Love Day May 1 project, a global celebration now in it's third year and proclaimed by over 100 Mayors/Governors and celebrated in more than 102 countries.

Creativity is a natural state of being. When we are joyfully creative, we are at peace! Through creativity we become connected to the limitless power within. It is at this place of awareness that we can feel connected to all life. It is my intention through my art to inspire people to be creative and to feel good, to be loving and to feel loved!
