Ellie Daniels, CPM, and Donna Broderick, CPM, are traditional midwives offering homebirth care for the childbearing year, including water birth, childbirth education, doula support, holistic well-woman follow-up, menopause and fertility consultations, and herbal, homeopathic, and nutritional consultation for the entire family.

Ellie Daniels is a Certified Professional Midwife, CPM, with 23 years of homebirth experience. She is also a midwifery educator,teaching at Birthwise Midwifery School in Bridgton, ME, and serves on the national Board for the Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (MEAC). She is a member of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA) and Midwives of Maine (MOM). Donna Broderick, CPM, has four years of homebirth experience. She is a certified childbirth educator and a doula. She is a member of Midwives of Maine and the Midwives Alliance of North America.

We believe that pregnancy and birth is a healthy process which we strive to support holistically, through education, nutrition, exercise, and natural remedies. Birth should be individually woman-centered, with the midwives facilitating a safe and empowering experience for the entire family.

We have an office in Belfast where we see clients for prenatal, postpartum, and well-woman care. We attend births as a team in a 60 mile radius from our office. We provide care on a sliding fee schedule, starting at $1400 and up for complete birth care. Birthing tub rentals are available. Childbirth Education Classes are offered three to four times a year, in a six week series, for $60/couple. Doula care for hospital births is available on request.
