Shelley Stein is a psychotherapist practicing in Sarasota, Florida. In addition to helping people with a variety of clinical psychotherapy issues including self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems, she has done a great deal of work with people coping with medical challenges, and adults in recovery from substance dependency.

Shelley Stein received her professional psychotherapy education in New York (Adelphi University) and Toronto (York University and the University of Toronto). Her clinical psychotherapy skills were honed in a wide range of settings (over 20 years), including hospitals and family service agencies, a First Nations reservation, and phobia clinics in New York and Canada, prior to her move to Florida.

My approach to psychotherapy in Florida is to work collaboratively with the client in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, so that together we can identify creative solutions to the problems that brings them to my office.
