What is Vibrational Healing?
Vibrational healing modalities and how they affect our energy fields and chakra system

What is vibrational healing? When I started on my quest to understand and answer this question many years ago I was a practicing Herbalist in Southern California, living on five acres and growing many of the herbs I used in my practice. Although I understood that plants had healing energies and knew the importance of the growing conditions and the good intentions needed to optimize medicinal qualities, the discovery that everything; plants, people, animals, have energy fields that always surround them opened up a new world for me and significantly changed my beliefs about disease. As an Herbalist, I treated symptoms, nourished physiological systems and believed illness to be psychosomatic but I didn’t really understand how this worked. If we hold in anger year after year until we get sick, where is this anger held? How does a thought process manifest physically? How can it be healed? The answer is that disease and imbalance start in our Human Energy Field before manifesting in the physical body. Our human energy fields or auric layers are a part of us, our very own energetic vibrations, and these energy fields need conscious attention and care just as our physical bodies do. At the very center of our energy field is our major chakra system. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel". When our chakras are in balance they spin in a clockwise direction like a wheel. There are also many minor chakras throughout our entire physical body.

The seven energetic layers in our human energy field surround our physical bodies. Each level is different in vibrational frequency, color, texture, sound.

The first level is called the etheric body, it exists closest to our physical body, and it deals with physical functioning and physical sensations. It is a structured level that gives our physical body integrity The first level appears as cobalt blue lines with clear negative space like a grid.

The second level is called the emotional body; it extends out about 3-4 inches from our physical body. The emotional body is associated with the feelings we have about ourselves. If we allow feelings about ourselves to flow, both positive and negative, it helps the second level stays in balance. The emotional body is unstructured and appears as misty clouds of all the chakra colors.

The third level is called the mental body; it extends out about 6-9 inches from our physical body. The mental body is associated with clarity, rationality and the intuitive mind. Negative thought forms exist on this level. The mental body is bright lemon yellow with a tightly woven texture.

The fourth level is called the astral body; it extends out about 2” from our physical body. The astral body is associated with the love and joy of relationships as well as the struggle and pain. This level is also associated with dreams.

The fifth level is called the divine etheric template; it extends 2½" from our physical body. The divine etheric template is the dimension of divine will that holds the great evolutionary plan of humanity and the universe. We have free will to align ourselves with this divine will, or not. When balanced we feel connected to a greater purpose in our lives.

The sixth level is called the celestial body; it extends out about 3" from the physical body. It is here we feel bliss, ecstasy, devotion, joy and feel our connection with the entire universe. It is the vibration of divine love where we feel unconditional love. We can see the light and love in everything that exists. We reach this level of experience through meditation, religion, chanting, and music.

The seventh level is called the Ketheric template; it extends out about 3½" from our physical body. It is the vibration of divine mind where we know perfection in our imperfection. We reach this level of experience by searching for higher truth in our lives.

The chakra system, is the vertical column in our bodies that holds the major energy vortexes, or chakras, the place where our consciousness and bodies meet. Understanding the chakra system, as well as the human energy field, is important when choosing which vibrational healing therapy is most appropriate for you. The major chakras are on the front and back of our bodies and work together.

Vibrational healing takes place in our energy fields using hands on healing, flower essences, gem essences, homeopathic remedies, toning and other therapies that address issues of energy blockages and energetic imbalances in our chakra system and our energy fields. You can think of it as increasing and strengthening your life force, (vibration, light, chi, prana, ka) on an energetic level. We are beings of light in physical form.

Vibrational medicines embody a particular energetic frequency, or soul quality. When we use vibrational remedies to clear unproductive life patterns and eliminate energetic blockages in our human energy field, we raise our consciousness and we are able to function from a point that is closer to the real Self, which brings a sense of inner harmony.

As our conscious awareness is elevated, our ability to understand and incorporate higher ideals and healthier life patterns is enhanced. Vibrational remedies work on the emotions and spirit. If we are open to change, their effect can be dramatic, but if we resist the nudge they give the emotions, they may have little visible effect in the short run.
