Your Life Purpose
Answer the questions Why am I here and What is my life purpose? Spiritual information to guide you.

August 20th 2008 - Human beings are an interesting species. We have the capacity to create intentionally, with purpose and thought. Other animals also create. Birds make nests. Bees make hives. Beavers construct massive dams. But these animals are creating driven by instinct, not intelligence. Humans can create great works of art, compose music, and build monuments. Humans exhibit what scientists call higher order thinking. Our thoughts move beyond focusing on survival, into philosophy, contemplation and problem solving. The human mind is a wondrous vessel for creative thinking. Throughout human history our species has pondered the reasons for our existence. At some time in your life, you have probably asked “Why am I here? What is my purpose?” These two basic questions are the foundation for most major religions and philosophical schools.
So, why are you here? And what is your purpose for being here? From a spiritual perspective you chose to come into this life experience. You chose to learn lessons for your growth. Before you were born, you entered into a spiritual contract. Your life is the fulfillment of that agreement. How you fulfill your agreement is your choice. It sounds like everything is predestined, but it isn’t. This is where free choice comes in. We all have free choice here in the third dimension on planet earth. Everyday you are presented with choices. Some are very simple and seemingly of minor consequence, such as what you decide to eat for breakfast or when you decide to go to bed. Yet, these choices are important. You could regularly eat high fat, high cholesterol breakfast food, which may someday result in a heart attack. If you don’t allow enough time for rest at night and stay up into the wee hours, your body will get tired and not function well. Sleep deprivation will impact your mental state. In addition to the day to day choices you make, there are important choices on a much larger scale. These include where you live, your profession, and your relationships. Sometimes choices involve life and death. When faced with a life threatening illness, the treatment you choose will impact your recovery or death. Life is a series of never ending choices and opportunities. You are here to make choices and learn from your decisions. So, ask God/Goddess, Jehovah, The Loving Universe, Great Spirit, One Source of All Creation (it doesn’t matter what label you use. It’s all the same energy.) to guide you to make decisions that are for your greater good and the greater good of others. What’s your purpose? Each of us has the same life purpose; we just go about it in different ways. Your purpose is to be loving in all that you do and to grow spiritually. So, ask God/Goddess, Jehovah, The Loving Universe, Great Spirit, One Source of All Creation ( again, it doesn’t matter what label you use. It’s all the same energy.) to guide you to make decisions that are loving and will help you on your spiritual path. Making choices is a form of creation. You create your thoughts. Your thoughts lead to actions. These actions bring your lessons. May your lessons be lessons in love.
