Philosophy and Comments
What is Naturopathic Medicine? Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary health care. Naturopathy blends centuries-old natural, non-toxic therapies with current advances in the study of disease prevention and treatment, health maintenance and optimal wellness.Naturopathic medicine honors the patient as a unique individual and a whole person. The practice of natural medicine emphasizes disease prevention and self care, and attempts to find the underlying cause of illness, rather than simply treating symptoms. Natural therapies are gentle and effective in treating health problems, both of an acute and chronic nature.
