These cushions are made from a variety of rich, sumptuous fabrics and have an attached contemplative scroll to aid you in becoming focused and grounded. A beautiful gift for yourself or a friend. The textiles used are harmonious combinations of silks & velvets, jacquards and embroideries - all have an ultrasuede bottom for durability. The covers are removable for cleaning and cushion inserts are made from hypoallergenic fiberfill.

Lorna has had a love affair with fabrics and textiles from an early age. On sabbatical from the local movie industry (costume department), she is now devoting her time to expressing her creativity through inspirational outlets.

Prayer and meditation provide us all with balance & integrity, joy & love. I was priviledged to receive the inspiration to create these cushions in meditaiton (after a comment from my partner about "sore knees from praying"). They allow me to express some of the beauty I feel from the Creator and touch the hearts and spirits of others in our common goal for peace on our planet.

Special orders are available with a minimum purchase of three cushions. In order to maintain the unique quality of these cushions, very limited numbers of each style are crafted. The material on the scrolls has been selected from a wide range of inspirational sources from Gaelic folk sayings to First Nations wisdom, books of antiquity and world philosophies. They are non-denominational and appeal to anyone seeking inner peace and calm. They are printed in a soft flowing Bergell script on acid free, hand-milled paper with a raised tooth and lovely parchment style edging. Some people have framed them and they make a beautiful addition to any alter or shrine-style setting or hung on the wall.
