Profile and Credentials

Meet Dr. Bob…

Dr. Bob Seiler is not only extensively trained in chiropractic, he has followed his passions around the world. He is an avid golfer, having traveled to Scotland to experience the “birthplace of golf”! He’s seen the exoticism of the Far East via Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. He’s also seen first hand the antiquity of Europe. His out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle offers you a “non-traditional approach” to health and well-being. If you still need help, please call me at (801) 230-0166.

Golf on the Hallowed-Grounds…

In the Spring of 2008 Dr. Bob took the ultimate golf trip and journeyed to Scotland, where he played the “Belleisle” course in Ayrshire; “Royal Troon” where the Senior British Open was held in 2008. Then onto “Old Prestwick” where the first British Open took place in 1861; and then to Carnoustie’s ”Buddon” & “Burnside” courses. At the “Championship” course Dr. Bob challenged “Hogan’s Alley”, the Par 5, 6th hole. This is where Ben Hogan after he had recovered from his severe car accident, would drive his tee-shot over the out-of-bounds of the adjacent fairway of the 6th hole and then have his shot fade back into the 6th fairway. Ben Hogan did this in all four rounds in order to reach this Par 5 in two!

Philosophy and Comments

Holistic Chiropractic ~ A Healing Art

Q: Do all chiropractors practice the same?

A: No. Each chiropractor practices differently based upon the Chiropractic College attended and the chiropractor’s philosophy toward pain relief or healing. It’s most important that you work with a chiropractor whose chiropractic philosophy feels right for you!

Q: What is Dr. Bob’s meaning of “Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness”?

A: Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness refers to the relationship of healing within the individual’s body which consists of the physical, chemical, emotional, and spiritual. Dr. Bob’s Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness integrates these dimensions. Not many chiropractors practice this way!

Q: Does Dr. Bob refer his patients to other healthcare professionals?

A: Sometimes a person needs to work with several healthcare professionals simultaneously to attain optimal Health and Wellness. When needed Dr. Bob may refer his patients to medical doctors, naturopathic & osteopathic physicians, neurologists, physical therapists, psychologists and licensed social workers in order to create a holistic healing integration.

Q: Who Can Benefit from “Holistic Chiropractic & Wellness”?

A: For Children, Adolescents, Adults who are willing to believe that there is more to our health then just taking “pills”!

Q: What is the difference between the “Medical Model” and the “Wellness Model”?

A: Dr. Bob’s experience has been that most people wait until pain, injury and illness occurs, then people seek emergency help which is usually quite invasive, expensive and potentially devastating. This is the Medical Model.

The Wellness Model is an alternative healthcare approach to Wellness which involves a person consistently taking care of themselves with good nutrition, proper exercise & sleep, routine lab work from your medical doctor/gynecologist, regular chiropractic care along with a positive attitude. Living this kind of lifestyle will help people resist pain, injury, illness, disease & improve quality of living!

Q: Will my “chiropractic adjustment” hurt? I’ve heard about “popping sounds” or “cracking noises” during “chiropractic adjustments” – is that normal?

A: A chiropractic adjustment should not hurt. Oftentimes, but not always there is a release of pressure from the vertebrae or joints in our body. This release of energy, the “popping sound” (an osseous chiropractic adjustment) provides increased range of motion, blood flow and nerve energy to help you feel better. It should not hurt. Dr. Bob offers osseous adjustments uses other types of chiropractic adjustments if you don’t want to hear or experience “the popping sound”.
