IT'S YOGA! Studio, Inc. National Yoga Alliance School,

offers daily classes and private sessions, corporate classes, teacher training, workshops and retreats, at our location or in your facility, tailored to your specific goals of health, physical fitness, and strength training, for beginners through experienced practitioners, muscle toning and weight loss, pregnancy and postnatal yoga, therapeutic and recovery needs at every age.

Our program of Yogic Life Coaching helps you work through 'blocks' in life.

We help you to have a fresh outlook by strengthening the mind & body( and therefore spirit) through a range of breath work, mantras (sound therapy), mental, and physical yoga movements.

These one-on-one trainings unify flowing plus sustained postures (asanas), in union with the rhythmic breath (pranayama) and focused mind.

We offer Ayurveda Nutrition as part of the Yogic Life Coaching upon request. These sessions include tools specific for you to balance your unique body type.

About Us        

Kristi Ried-Barton is founder and director of IT'S YOGA! Studio, Inc. As a Registered Yoga Trainer with Yoga Alliance, she has been teaching yoga on a daily basis to students and clients in Upstate South Carolina for the past 16 years. Kristi combines the methods of Yoga Masters, Amrit Desai, B.K.S. Iyengar and T.K.V. Desikachar.

Currently, she is completing the training for her Masters Degree through Amrit Yoga Institute.

As well as teaching for beginners through advanced levels, pregnancy, and teacher training classes, Kristi teaches in the Upstate through the hospitals and clinics working with cancer, cardiac rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis and therapeutic needs.

Yoga, as we teach it, is a system of health and nutrition maintenance that is long lasting and cultivates a sense of happiness and fulfillment. We can help you to achieve this by teaching you how to tap into inner energy reserves and generate health and happiness from within. True happiness is a result of a daily investment in health. Through a regular practice we can help you to counter general physical decline due to ageing, negligent use of the body, and/or the accumulation of excess tension.

Our Yoga methods meet you where and when you need it. Our sessions give you more overall comfort in the body and the mind, improves the posture, encourages deeper breathing, balances energy, improves concentration, and nurtures a sense of inner calm. The focus of this yoga practice is on breath and spinal aligning postures for better health, mental clarity, and inner peace. The benefits of these balanced routines are numerous. The body can be used with increased energy, flexibility, ease and awareness, and the internal workings of the body function optimally. Through consistent practice with our programs leads to delayed aging, energy and a remarkable zest for life.

Benches and shoe shelves available as you enter IT'S YOGA! STUDIO, Inc.

Bring your yoga mat. There are mats in the office for sale and for rental.

Arrive on time. Wear comfortable clothing. Have clean bare feet.

It is advisable not to eat one to two hours prior to class.

Turn off cell phones, pagers or beeping watches prior to class.

If it is necessary to leave early, leave before deep relaxation, not during it.


The newest member of our team is our Massage Therapist, Katie McGinnis. She offers several specialties: Swedish, Sports, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Chakra Energy Balancing and Reflexology Foot Massage.
