Description        

Therapeutic massage is taught and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools Board. Our program is a non-structured classroom situation with mostly one on one instruction. Student clinicals may be held in local medical facilities. Graduates are qualified to sit for national exams and become Colorado Registered Massage Therapists.













Profile and Credentials        

Marilyn Veselack, Founder and Owner of the school, has an extensive backgrown in the field of education. She has earned: BS of MuED at Illinois Wesleyan U.;MS with emphasis in education at Illinois State University and Doctorate of Arts (education) at Ball State University in Indiana. She earned Certificates in: therapeutic massage at The Alexandria School of Therapeutic Massage; Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy at The Alexandria School for Massage.She has memberships in: Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals; served on Site Teams for Commission of Massage Therapy Accreditation and Wellness Seminars for Therapists.

Philosophy and Comments        

ITM's philosophy embraces that a learning environment is created for each student (meeting her/his level and mode of learning) to insure successful educational experiences.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule        

The flexible program may fit around family and work schedules. A number of contacts must by made weekly with the instructors. The 500 hour massage course must be completed within the framework of 6 to 12 months. Fees: $6000. The 750 hour program must completed within 12 to 18 months. Fees: $9000. Payment must be made as each Unit's test is taken. Computerized tests except for 'hands-hand' classes. School packets are available.
