Encouraging Intuitive AbilityI was reading Randi's site the other day. He is the man who has offered a million dollars if anyone can prove their "psychic ability" under his controlled testing conditions. No one has been able to do so.Now, due to my own experiences, I know this ability is real, accurate and very helpful in many situations. Why can not anyone prove it to this man. Perhaps it is the same reason that one cannot find naturally occurring ice in a lake in the summertime. The conditions are not right. The doubt, skeptcism and downright negativity felt by Randi's group would be enough to stymy any progress. How about our children? Do they also fail to hold onto their abilities for the same reason. The answer is a resounding YES. If a child speaks of an ability and is met with disbelief or, even worse, accusations of being evil, that child will learn to suppress the ability. teleportationOne of the questions on our website to determine if your child has psy abilities is "Does your child seem to pop up out of nowhere?" Some have written wondering what this is all about!Teleportation! Some people can simply transport themselves across a distance or through walls. I am not certain how this is done, but it is akin to the Star Trek "beam me up Scotty" phenomena. Yikes! Intuitive children... indigo or crystalWhile at A Place of Light, we do not label children, the labels of Indigo and Crystal are used by many sources. The Indigo child is an outspoken child (or adult) who is extremely difficult at times. Those who have Indigo characteristics have their own drummer and can be very impatient with those who do not march to it! They have no hesitation in expressing their opinions!The Crystal individuals are more easy going and loving. They are accepting and understanding of the differences in people. They can see deeply into another's soul and cherish what that person is. Of course, most who are intuitive show some of each characteristic. I think that whomever wrote the poem about the little girl with the curl must have known an Indigo girl! For those of you who are not familiar with the poem, it is as follows: There was a little girl Who had a little curl Right in the middle of her forehead.
