The Power of Healing DreamsA Community Meetup will be held at Kekino Institute of Healing in Plano, Texas on Wed. July 28th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. This meetup will focus on the Power of Healing Dreams and we will explore ways to consciously work with dreams for the purpose of healing.Dreams provide a number of ways to work with healing on a number of levels. There are reports of spontaneous healing related to dreams where healing is transmitted directly through the dream experience. There are other ways of dream healing that are connected with the shamanic and indigenous approaches to healing through methods such as soul retrieval. We will look at the attitudes of our present culture toward healing and delve into what current research is showing about the effects of dreams on healing. Along this journey of healing we will also trace our own Western Medicine roots back toward the days of the Greek and Roman Empires and the Asclepian Dream Temples where perhaps the idea of the overnight stay for the purpose of healing evolved into our present day institutions of hospitals.
