Portia is a talented up and coming artist who works in a variety of mediums. This site is dedicated to showcasing her most recent works as photos become available. She is currently working in ceramics, glass and bath products. 
Art is what you make of it. Enjoy your passions to the fullest and live each day as if it were on purpose. You don't have to know what you want to do or where you want to go as long as you are happy in the moment. Yeah its great to keep an eye to the future so you don't lose sight of where you eventually want to end up. Just remember to live for you and not comprimise your future/dreams for anyone else. 
Due to working a full time Corporate America job and attending Grad. school full time, Portia keeps random and varying artistic hours. The holiday's are her busiest time so place your orders early. Product will begin Dec. 10 and end Jan. 15 for bath products. What ever ceramics are in stock is all that will be sold. Ceramic production will resume in February 2008. Fused glass pieces will begin appearing in Nov. and will continue to make appearances as studio time permits. 
Please note that intensity of the colors and fragrances vary depending on the soap base (goats milk, hemp, olive oil). Translucent bases allow for a clearer coloring while the milk bases allow for a darker richer coloring. The intensity of the fragrance also varies based on essential oils versus synthetic oil and whether it's a fruit, flower, food scent or herbs, i.e green apple, jasmine, coffee, or lavender. 
Please note that patterns cannot be exactly duplicated. Colors may vary due to placement in the kiln, firing temperature, and amount of minerals in glaze. Soap sets can be custom made in varying colors and fragrances. Custom fused glass pieces are done at the artist convenience. Portia works very hard to match sets with same colors and patterns when done in one sitting. All pieces are individually handcrafted and most are even hand painted. The ceramic pieces are made with a variety of glazing technique's from painting, to staining, to sponging, to drizzling.
