In my practice, I provide individual and couple therapy and hypnotherapy. I help people address issues of depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma recovery, relaxation, life transitions, phobias, healing, non-smoking, and more. I produced a self-hypnosis CD entitled Losing Weight by Choosing Well.

I also welcome clients interested in working toward life goals or spiritual growth without identifying any particular problem.

My Masters degree in clinical social work is from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and I have been in the field for over 20 years. In the state of Indiana, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have completed well over 120 hours in training in hypnosis.

I am well-versed in several therapeutic styles and techniques as well as hypnotherapy, and I adjust to meet individual needs and preferences. I have used of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) extensively, and I love incorporating humor into counseling.

I approach therapy holistically with the understanding that we are all physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and what affects one part of our lives influences how we function in every other area. My clients are best served when we make these connections and comprehensively address possible solutions.

I strive to provide a safe environment for exploration and expression of needs, ideas, and personal history. Identifying and incorporating their strengths, I see my role as helping my clients to gain perspective and insight, to set goals, and to develop tools to maintain a healthy balance and make good decisions.

I work Monday-Friday with some evening appointments available. Normal fees are $80 per 50-minute session.
Many insurances will reimburse clients for a percentage of fees paid.
