Peace Labyrinth and Gardens

Description

Peace Labyrinth & Gardens is a place where individuals and groups from many walks of life can be in retreat without leaving the city of Los Angeles. Come and walk the hand-carved stone outdoor labyrinth, find peace and quiet in the meditation garden, or chant the names of God in the Sacred Tones Workshop.

Profile and Credentials

Labyrinths are a kind of archetypal design that have been in existence for thousands of years as part of mystical and religious traditions and cultures throughout the world. Walking a labyrinth in modern times is a great way to bring peace and relaxation to our minds. It can be a meditative process, assisting us to let go of tension and open our minds to new ways of thinking.

Peace Labyrinth & Gardens is home to the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness and Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy, both founded by Dr. John-Roger. MSIA's Spiritual Director is Dr. John Morton. The purpose of MSIA is to teach Soul Transcendence. PTS, the educational branch of MSIA, offers master’s and doctoral programs, classes on the Internet, and retreats, workshops, and classes in locations around the world.

Philosophy and Comments

MSIA and Peace Labyrinth and Gardens are dedicated to Soul Transcendence, which is becoming aware of ourselves as a Soul and as one with God, not as a theory but as a living reality.
