I was born in Palm Springs, California on April 21, 1972. I have a younger brother and an older sister. The creative gene has been passed down from my father's side. My father is a great amateur photographer . His mother painted painted for enjoyment. And his father was connoisseur of classical music. They both played musical intruments, as well as my father. My Mothers side of the family came for Greece. My Mother was the beginning of the first generation to be born in the U.S. My Greek heritage definitely has an influence on my work and my life. Since I was very young I have always been fascinated by the Greek culture and language. I knew that I wanted to pursue art as my career from as far back as I can remember. Fortunately my family was supportive of my interest in the arts and did everything they could to help me develop my talent. I made the decision in July 2001 to pursue my art full time. I started selling my work at the street fair on Thursday nights in Palm Springs in August of 2001. My business has grown so fast since then that I can hardly keep up with it. I started with 14 paintings and now have over 200. I love what I am doing so much that I find it hard to stop to eat sometimes. I work on an average, 7 days a week and have no complaints, (I am a little tired, but very happy). When you are making a living doing something you love, it just doesn't seem like work at all.
