Philosophy and Comments

Art Therapy, while still considered a nacent profession, continues to be, for me, a source of the profound revelations in the drawings of child and adult populations, in normal and abnormal populations and across all cultures. My passion has been to contribute to the credibility of this field and, toward that end, I have published three books and over 40 articles covering a variety of diagnostic and treatment cases. More recently, I have completed a normative study on the Levick Emotional and Cognitive Art Therapy Assessment (LECATA), testing 331 normal children, K-6th grade, in the Palm Beach County School District. Publication of the data analysis is planned for 2005.
I have also been qualified as expect witness in 5 states.
