Gifted adults learn, think, feel or work differently than other people and often do not understand that what others may judge wrong with them is actually the basis of their contribution to the world. After working with me, gifted adults understand and accept their abilites and differences and learn how and where to direct their energies. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Benedictine University and a Bachelors Degree in Education from Northwestern University. I co-founded the West Suburban Counsil for the Gifted and am a member of the Illinois Counselors Association, the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association and the Institute of Noetic Sciences. I am an experienced speaker on mental health topics for the public and professionals.

My approach incorporates a belief in lifelong human growth, learning and development, is strength-based and uses client-centered and cognitive strategies to support positive changes.

Weekday, evening and Saturday appointments are available. My fee is $100 per session, and I provide documentation for submission to insurance companies.
