I practice a form of therapy which is adapted to my clients' specific needs, and which helps access hidden, unwanted feelings and concepts so they can be released. Drawing primarily on client-centered therapy, I act as a compassionate facilitator to help clients better understand and accept their psychological and emotional processes. For those so disposed, I include Transpersonal Therapy and Psychosynthesis which help a person unite with their spiritual core within.

In private practice since 1980, I have a Ph.D. degree in Psychology and a license (No. MFC15349) from the state of California to practice psychotherapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). I also have an M.A. degree in Counseling, a Master of Engineering Management from UCLA, and a B.S. from MIT.
I have also been working with people in several Twelve Step Fellowships for over 35 years.

Therapy is a joint process based on building an emotional partnership between client and therapist. I work toward creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment conducive to earning my clients' trust. Clients decide how much they are ready to reveal at any time. Eventually, the more a client can share--even what may be difficult or seem insignificant--the quicker the progress.
Through the process of therapy, a person's view of him/herself expands; rejected/unconscious parts of the personality are accepted and embraced; and a person's sense of self and self-esteem are enhanced.

I am the author of three books:

Forever One, published in August, 2005, contains brand new information about the creation of ourselves as Perfect Spiritual Beings, by an Infintely Loving Power, and our subsequent creation of the physical universe and our own physical bodies, after we had developed egos.
My Ego, My Higher Power, And I presents the three parts of our psyche which include the Infinite, Loving Power we often call God, our True, Perfect Self, and our ego representing our individual opposition to God which attempts to create duality. The book also delineates a path of transforamtion/surrender from ego domination to the Perfect Love and Joy of our Higher Self.
The Twelve Steps for Everyone... is an adaptation of the Twelve Steps of A.A. for people with any emotional problem, including ego addiction. Originally published anonymously, the book has sold more than one-half million copies to date.
