CLASSESREIKI First Degree Workshop/lecture/experiential. Learn and practice hands-on healing positions for treatment of self and others. Receive first degree Reiki attunement and certification.
REIKI Second Degree Workshops and CertificationsWe will go deeper into the mystery of universal energy and clarify our responsibilities as practitioners in order to keep our intentions focused, clear and pure. Practice hands on and distance healing. Participants will receive Reiki II attunement, which will raise the vibratory levels and elicit the healing energies that are magnified through alignment to Source. You will leave the workshop a fully certified Reiki practitioner.
SHAMANIC REIKI Mastership Program - Advanced Energy Study GroupLecture/experiential. This intensive year program offers a unique opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge and practice of working with advanced energy modalities. The format of the workshop encourages students to engage in a healthy discussion as well as hands-on learning with fellow participants. Each class will meet for approximately 3 and half hours once or twice a month (depending upon Heather’s Brazil schedule) and will draw upon specific subject material:
Principles and applications of Dowsing (as advanced by The American Dowsers Association)
Shamanic Journeying
Un-cording from family of origin
Discernment and “SEEING” energies
Spirit Attachment and clearing energies
Chakra Clearing and other materials
Students will be responsible for readings and work assignments between meetings. Certification is available for those students who intend to become teachers. These students will be expected to work with their own clients and submit client evaluation forms on an ongoing basis throughout the program.
Shamanic Journey Workshop
The word shaman is a Siberian word and means "healer, one who sees in the dark." Shamanism is an ancient path that has been traveled the world over since time before recorded history. Healing with Spiritual Light
Heather was trained by Sandra Ingerman and offers this exciting new transmutation work centered on releasing our egoistic consciousness so we can return to our luminous state of radiance. To quote Sandra: “As the causes of illness today are different than in ancient times, our healing methods must be updated to deal with modern day illness. So much of the illnesses we see today such as the epidemic rate of cancer and the increases in immune deficiency problems are a direct result of the chemical pollution in our environment.” In this course we will explore the use of transfiguration --shapeshifting into own divinity -- as well as methods of merging with helping spirits to go beyond traditional healing methods and open us to the power of the Universe that knows how to heal and transmute illness.
Medicine for the Earth Training
This is a 3 day training workshop, based on the information in Sandra Ingerman's Medicine for the Earth. Participants will study how to transform personal and environmental pollution by learning how to transmute negative beliefs, attitudes, and energies that come from our emotions. We will focus on deepening our connection with our helping spirits and the spirits of the land, and our own divine nature to bring balance and harmony back to ourselves and the planet. We will also prepare for and work with a ceremony to transmute toxins in water. Once participants complete this workshop they are invited to join Heather's bi-monthly circle.
Prerequisite: Participants must have read and are familiar with exercises in Sandra Ingerman's Medicine for the Earth.

SERVICES
SHAMANIC HEALING
In her one-on-one sessions, Heather uses Core Shamanic principles and techniques based on the traditional healing practices of indigenous cultures. The universal Shamanic healing principle is that all illnesses, whether physical or emotional are manifestations of problems in the invisible but very real world of spirit. The Shaman, called the "Walker between Worlds", can journey to the spirit realm and, in alliance with Spirit Helpers, obtain guidance for healing and decision-making to affect change in this reality. Heather’s intuitive abilities and extensive training in Shamanic practices enable her to enter the altered state of consciousness that is necessary for contact with the non-ordinary reality of spirit.
SOUL RETRIEVAL
This is the key practice to heal the fragmented self and is used for recovery from illness, trauma or loss. Heather journeys in shamanic trance to non-ordinary reality with the specific intention to discover and retrieve the soul parts, the vital essence that has split off from the client due to illness or trauma. After the journey a healing ritual is performed to re-integrate the soul parts. She discusses her journey with the client and records the rich details of the journey. Heather says this about the process "Soul retrieval is like having a family reunion, only all the members are parts of oneself that come together in a joyful celebration of integration. Inside we experience a dynamic synergy that frees us to be fully present, creative and whole."
POWER ANIMAL RETRIEVAL
This healing practice is for guidance, empowerment and oneness. According to Core Shamanism, the connection with a guardian animal spirit makes one powerful in body and thereby resistant to the intrusion of negative forces. Bonding with one’s power animal brings greater physical energy and mental clarity, enhanced immunity and self-confidence. Heather journeys to the lower world of earth-centered consciousness to discover which helping animal spirits are available to the client. Through Power Animal Retrieval direct contact is made and the individual’s relationship with the animal helper is honored and strengthened. "Often the specific attributes of the animal spirit are the perfect match for the needs of the person at this time", says Heather.
EXTRACTION
This practice removes harmful intrusions, the patterns of energy distortions that are part of illness, akin to the modern idea of infection. Heather performs extraction by entering the shamanic trance state and with helper animals and spirit guides discovers and removes the distortions. They are returned to the earth or sent to the universe and rendered harmless. Extraction can be performed for individual healing and similar techniques can be used to clear space such as a home, office or other place of business.
SHAMANIC CEREMONIAL RITUAL
Performed by Heather on special occasions to mark the earth’s cycles or the cycles of one’s life. Fire ceremony, moon ceremony, spirit canoe, space clearings and blessings, healing circles and other dedications and celebrations are among the Shamanic earth-honoring rituals.
REIKI
The gentle hands-on healing art from Japan called Reiki activates, directs and applies natural, universal life energy for balance, healing and wholeness. Reiki hand positions are used to channel Universal Life Force, called KI, which stimulates the innate healing resources of the body. Heather works intuitively, and is guided to focus on areas that are most in need of energy flow and alignment. Reiki treatment reduces stress, relieves pain, balances the emotions and facilitates personal healing and spiritual growth. With regularly scheduled sessions, these powerful benefits increase, bringing positive changes on ever- deepening levels. Heather says “ Having on-going Reiki sessions is a way to tend to our beautiful energy field, sowing and planting Ki to harvest wellness and spiritual transformation.”
REIKI INSTRUCTION:
Basic Reiki is easy to learn and perform and as a Reiki Master, Heather is able to conduct the specialized energy attunements that are the unique feature of Reiki practice. The attunement enhances each student’s ability to transmit the Universal Life Force through the healing hand positions. There are three levels of attunement: Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Mastership. Heather conducts regularly scheduled classes in Reiki, providing certification and training in performing Reiki on oneself and others, including distance healing.
VIBRATIONAL HEALING
Heather is skilled in various vibrational healing methods and is able to tailor sessions to the needs of the individual. She has developed a special releasing technique called Uncording, to free up the Chakra centers by unbinding unhealthy energetic connections from past relationships and events. Heather uses her intuitive sight to identify these cords then guides the client to release the negativity. The Uncording session is particularly useful after Soul Retrieval, when the newly integrated self can flourish in present time, free of past entanglements. Whenever there is awareness that the past is draining energy and creating the feeling of being stuck, Uncording is very helpful.

We (my husband and my son) speak Spanish and since we had been many times in Brazil on vacations we can understand Portuguese. So we had decided to travel on our own and met Heather there “by chance”.

Dear Heather,
I truly want to thank you for being in Washington last weekend for our seminar with Medium Joao. I am so thankful for all I experienced there; I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in this event. I want you to know how much I appreciate your contributions to the event.
I have had the most amazing experience in the past week. Even though I definitely feel "post-surgical", I feel as if I am vibrating at a much higher frequency. It's as if I and all the others who were there have become transmitters for the light which Joao and all of us invoked. I've been feeling the effects of my surgery and resting a lot, but it hasn't affected the strength of that vibrational frequency. It's an odd combination; I feel energetically wonderful but physically weak! My sense is that as I get stronger from the effects of the surgery, the light will become anchored even greater in my body even as my physical condition improves.
I am so grateful to you for coming to our event, for translating and for being so careful and comprehensive in the information you gave us. I'm glad you were so cautious in asking Joao if I could stay for the Sunday program after my Saturday surgery. I would have gone home if told to, though I really didn't want to be anywhere else than where Joao was, and with all of you! I'm being careful to follow the instructions and am feeling stronger every day. I've noticed some physical changes already and am waiting to see what the next few months bring in terms of healing as well as new energies.
Most important, though, is the work we all did invoking the light. I feel the power of that work every day and am so privileged to have been part of it. Thanks again for helping to make that experience possible.

"I was not only impressed by your leadership and the commitment to service you demonstrated. I also value very much your fluent Portuguese speaking ability, your Brazilian-American background and your respectful knowledge of the local culture, all of which I know to be rare among the various Abadiania groupleaders, but which I consider essential in a groupleader. I managed to pick up some Portuguese during my lengthy stay, but it is not as easy as Spanish, and remains a rather bewildering, mindboggling and not infrequently frustrating language. For people who are only going to be in Abadiania for a few weeks and/or who don't speak Spanish, I have no idea how they can manage to get around comfortably, especially if they have special needs, without a native speaker close by. One becomes severely limited to choice of pousadas. To go out of town would also not be too easy, as I found, despite my limited Portuguese vocabulary. Most importantly, I would also have liked to have someone else available, who ideally knows something about my particular health situation, besides the few overworked Casa volunteers (whose English may not be as fluent), to help translate conversation with the entity. Abadiania was an experience of a lifetime, despite any language challenges. I nonetheless hope to catch you on your next trip to Abadiania." - AN - USA
The trip to visit João de Deus has been life altering for me. I can never doubt that "death" is simply a transition from one state to another. Nor can I question the perfection and synchronicity of everything in the universe because I experienced both from the start of the trip to its finish. During the trip, it felt like we were being protected and guided. Everything flowed. I experienced what I have heard for many years: love is all there is. Since returning home. I have begun to experience compassion for others. The trip so moved me that I have been unable to discuss it without shedding tears. I received four physical healings: heart, lower back, sacroiliac, and right arm. During the crystal healings, a good deal of emotional healing took place. It continues. The entities have come back with us. After returning from Brazil a Reiki client informed me that the color of the energy she saw was different-that it was now cobalt blue.
