Jaclyn Bergeson, Body Talk Practitioner

Description

The BodyTalk System is a revolutionary form of holistic healthcare that uses the bodies' natural energies and wisdom to heal itself.

The BodyTalk System was developed by Dr. John Veltheim during the mid-nineties, and since then is now being taught by over 60 instructors in 28 countries.

Having always been involved in competitive sports, I combined my knowledge of both fields and complement physiotherapy, massage, and chiropractic treatments to quickly heal athletic injuries and improve performance.

Philosophy and Comments

The BodyTalk System recognizes that in each of us there lies an inner or "innate" wisdom of whom we are and what makes our individual bodies' work. This innate knowing carries the answer to all of our health care problems.

How Does BodyTalk Work?

The BodyTalk System facilitates communication with the "innate" wisdom of the body by using neuromuscular feedback. The communication provides the practitioner with yes and no answers. We then use this communication to guide us through the treatment, while we search for what imbalances and techniques will be used to restore optimal health.

Finding the imbalances..

The Protocol is a comprehensive set of questions, that by using the communication from the client we can move through to find all of our destinations in the body. The destinations we find by using this 'map' vary with every individual because of the different factors that lead them to that symptom. The practitioner needs to find out which organs, endocrines, or body parts need to be connected to restore the communication between them at the physiological, biochemical, circulatory, nervous, emotional, and/or energy levels.

Restoring Communication..

When the Practitioner has found all the destinations in the body that need to be addressed the client or practitioner touches the parts in need of repair and applies a specific technique. These techniques are completely non-invasive and work on an energetic level within the body.

Correcting Energy Circuits..

While a specific technique is being applied, the practitioner gently taps the head of the client to focus the brain toward repair. The tapping is based on Hatha Yoga technique; experiments with biofeedback apparatus have shown a major increase of brain activity when this tapping occurs. The practitioner then taps lightly on the heart energy complex, which ensure the new balance is held deep in memory and is therefore, lasting.
