Philosophy and Comments

My work is in yoga. Yoga means union. All of the services I offer assist a person in realizing their union with everything, everyone, and God. Yoga therapy can assist someone in achieving a strong and flexible body, a clear and calm mind, balanced emotions, and a sense of deep peace and love. Self-realization does not depend on these, but the healing that yoga therapy offers can be a spring board for greater awareness and make the ride more comfortable along the way. I believe we all have infinite potential and that we are all potential miracle workers. The spiritual counseling that I offer helps to bring clarity into issues that hold one back from realizing his or her potential.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

Monday through Saturday, 9 to 6 and evenings if necessary. The fee is $60 per hour for consultations and most body work. By appointment only.

Yoga Therapy

This is a customized program designed to help someone recover from an injury, disease, or simple lack of flexibility. The program utilizes specific yoga postures to build strength and flexibility exactly where they are needed. The emotional, mental, and spiritual components are considered as integral to the healing. Sessions include yoga techniques such as breathing exercises, deep relaxation, visualization, and meditation. The habits of daily living are also examined and modified as needed. Yoga therapy can meet the needs of those with specific disease conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, hypoglycemia, etc. Athletes, handicapped persons, and the elderly can receive great benefits from these sessions. Group programs can also be arranged.

Core Release

This is a light touch technique for bringing deep relaxation and integration into the nervous system. It is very relaxing because the nervous system is what controls the muscular system. When the former is healthy, the latter is quite happy. This technique often brings relief to back pain and stiffness. Energy techniques such as Reiki and Quantum Touch are often integrated into the session.

Medical and orthopedic Massage

Swedish massage techniques combined with PNF, contract/relax, trigger point therapy, reciprocal inhibition and Active isolated stretching.

A Course in Miracles and spirtual counseling

I have been a student of A Course in Miracles since 1992 and I am the author of "A Healer's Guide to Miracles" (see my previous description). I have also had some training as an intuitive counselor. I am glad to speak and share with people about this profound psycho-spiritual teaching. I can also help assist in finding the issue(s) underlying a dis-ease. This part of my work is by donation.
