Description

What is Natural Medicine?

The practice of Natural Medicine is the promotion of health, the assessment of emotional, mental and physical state and the resultant Natural Medicine therapeutic techniques to improve emotional and adaptive function.

This includes, but is not limited to, nutritional and dietary therapeutics, botanical/herbal remedies, mechanical therapy (Reflexology, massage, etc.), homeopathy and vibrational medicine.

What is the Association of Doctors of Natural Medicine – Alberta (ADNMA)?

ADNMA was first formed as an association for all Alberta Doctors of Natural Medicine registered with EBNMP. Over the last few years, the Association has expanded to include other levels of membership, including all Wholistic Practitioners, Alternative Practitioners, Complementary Health Practitioners, and Manual Therapy Practitioners (body-workers) – as well as students of natural medicine who are working towards attaining the DNM designation.

Additionally we also have membership available to people and businesses, who provide services to our membership - health industry suppliers.

What is the Examining Board of Natural Medicine Practitioners (EBNMP)?

The EBNMP is a regulating body for all Doctors of Natural Medicine (DNMs), acting as an “umbrella” to unify practitioners globally within the field of Natural Medicine. However, membership is not limited to DNMs, and EBNMP has categories for different levels of practitioners. Members who are not DNMs have the option of staying within their membership designation or working towards DNM level.

Because the EBNMP has different levels of membership, so too, does the ADNMA.

[ “Western Herbs for Eastern Philosophy”

With Evelyn Mulders of Kinesiology College of Canada

(Energy Kinesiologist, Founder and Director of Kinesiology College of Canada, Herbologist, Iridologist, Reflexologist, Creator of Sound Essence, Energy Vibrational Therapist, Owner an Operator of Holistic Tapestries Natural Care Center)

Description of Workshop: With Energy Kinesiology we use many tools to balance the meridians and chakras and auric field of the body. Using plant energies is not new in this work; however using herbs to balance the body on all dimensions, physically, emotionally and spiritually is revolutionary. Plants are in co-creation with humans and they have healing qualities that support the human body on all three dimensions. Using the energy model of healing with the herbs offers the potential to balance the body through the meridians and chakras, which embrace body, mind and soul balance. Choosing to use Western herbs and applying the Eastern model of healing offers a different, whole body perspective to health care. Working inside the holistic model taps into the full potential of herbal healing.

Evelyn’s Biography: Shifting her career from Engineering Technology to Energy Kinesiology in 1995. Owns and operates Holistic Tapestries Natural Care Center in Lake Country, Canada where she enjoys a successful practice. Evelyn was inspired to create vibrational remedies she calls “Sound Essence” endorsed by ICPKP and markets these tools, manuals and accompanying workshops worldwide. Recognized as a natural facilitator, Evelyn is the accredited faculty director of the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice and Director of the Kinesiology College of Canada, an accredited college offering BKP, PKP, TFH and various other related mini-workshops. This presentation will explain the Sudbury model in detail and allow time for participants to ask questions.
