Phyllis Braun LMT, is a nationally recognized massage therapist and teacher of Cranio-Sacral Therapy and her own innovative Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy. She has supervised and taught these manual therapies throughout the US as well. She has 26 years experience as a clinical massage therapist. She has taken her knowledge and experience and developed her own clearly perceptive hands-on system of teaching the fine art of Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy.

This year (2008) she is launching a new format for teaching; the Braun Method of Advanced Bodywork, a four day 32 hour comprehensive training. This method offers a syntheses of Cranio-Sacral and Neuromuscular therapies that is unique to the field of bodywork. Through a process of "listening in", students will learn to integrate the subtle, inner-body awareness of CS therapy with the more structural approach to Neuromuscular bodywork. Practitioners will learn effective techniques to provide their clients relief from pain due to injury and trauma.

As a massage therapist, she combines the best of manual healing art skills with a warm hearted caring presence. She facilitates the inherent resources that the client has for healing. Her love of the work is evident! She currently practices in El Prado, New Mexico, which is close to Taos. She teaches regularly in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Ohio.

Phyllis' philosophy is a longstanding commitment to the art of healing. She specializes in facilitating the release of pain and trauma in her clients, helping them find new expressions of joy and movement in their lives.

Her results in private practice have been outstanding and she is excited about offering "what works" to students and clients. She employs an organic approach to teaching and doing bodywork that is especially effective in communicating information that students can readily use in their own practice, and that clients can integrate easily to encourage freedom from pain and more movement in their bodies.

She employs the fine art of listening to her clients and their bodies, to discover with them the many ways of letting go and opening to new ways of being, more alive, vital and happy within themselves.

She has touched people for 26 years and still loves going to work everyday. She would say she loves to explore and discover with her clients, their own connections to their innate body wisdom and power of healing.

She would say that love is still the greatest healing force in bodywork and she combines love with skill to assist people in realizing their own healing capacities.
