A Child is Born Birth Services offers complete care for the childbearing woman. Prenatal care, labwork, homebirth, waterbirth, postpartum care and well-woman check-ups.

I started practicing midwifery in 1994 in Dallas, and moved my practice to central Texas in 1997. I have served on several professional boards and committees and was instrumental in drafting the current rules for midwifery in Texas. I have been teaching students in my practice for the past nine years and lecture at Baylor University several times a year.

I firmly believe that women's bodies were designed to give birth, and most will do so with little to no intervention. My job is not to see that you have the birth I want you to have, but to facilitate the birth you want to have. I will freely give all the knowledge and skills I posses to assist you in your quest for a healthy pregnancy and birth.
