Description

I am an animal communicator located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Using a combination of sympathetic communication and energy work, I help people make conscious, confident decisions for their animal companions during times of transition, illness, and end-of-life.

I also use animal communication to help people connect more deeply to their pets and to celebrate that bond throughout--and after--life.

Profile and Credentials

I have been practicing animal communication and energy work professionally since October 2004. I developed these skills in 2003 while living on a farm animal sanctuary in northern Colorado.

Through my studies of heart-centered meditation, Reiki, and Perelandra's Medical Assistance Program, I developed tools to help support the sanctuary animals during times of stress, illness, or transition. I began to receive specific physical sensations and intuitive hits about their needs and emotions and one day, I began to literally hear what the animals were saying. From that point on, the rescued animals offered themselves as willing teachers, helping me to trust what I heard and felt.

Philosophy and Comments

The ability to communicate with animals is a gift I have cultivated with the understanding that I am to use it to help animals by strengthening the connection people have with them.

Our relationships with our animals are always very complex and some people tell me that they're afraid of what their companions have to say about them. I say don't worry! The mere fact that you're interested in hearing what your companion has to say means that there's already a positive bond between you. Anything (s)he says will only serve to make your relationship stronger.

Animals may be stressed or angry depending upon what is happening in their household, but with your help and openness, animal communication will address these issues and find ways for both of you to be happier together.

I have a great deal of respect for a relationship in which both animal and person are happy, healthy, and close. Animal communication can also benefit this type of relationship in a number of ways:

* It's fun to receive affirmation from your animal companion, such as her love for a private ritual the two of you have, or acknowledgment of an inside joke you share.

* An animal may have insight into his/her person's health, work, or relationships and may provide advice during life changes.

* I have also received messages about other animals in the family who may not want to talk about their specific health or behavior issues.

* Animal communication can provide clarity in situations where emotions tend to get in the way, such as when and if euthanasia is in the animal's highest good.

I am always considerate of an animal's boundaries. All communication and energy work is conducted with absolute respect for the animal's highest good.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

Please use the links at the top of this page to contact me for an appointment.

I am available Monday-Friday by appointment for in-person and phone sessions.

A session for 1-2 animals lasts about an hour and includes any energy work required.

Phone sessions work exactly the same as in-person, with no change in the quality of the communication for me or for your animal companion. They're a great alternative for clients in other states or countries, or in an emergency.

In-Home Sessions: $150
Phone Sessions: $120

Additional animals (after the first two) add about 15 to 30 minutes to a session and are $10 each.

Animal Communication & Your Pet's Health

I am not a veterinarian nor do I have a background in animal medicine. Therefore I strongly recommend that you seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian in conjunction with any animal communication sessions and before administering any foods, herbs, supplements, essential oils, or essences that I may suggest.

That said, I have found that animal communication and traditional veterinary medicine CAN work hand-in-hand. In most situations, communication and energy work enriches the relationships between animal, person, and health care provider(s). It particularly supports animals who have been diagnosed with illnesses from which they can still recover, but require extensive care to do so. It can also help increase the effectiveness of prescribed medications and therapies, mitigate the effects of anesthesia, and shorten healing time. Just as importantly, animal communication can help YOU feel calmer in the face of any illness and confident in the medical decisions you make for your animal companion.

How I Use Animal Communication

First I ask for your permission to connect with your animal companion. Then I focus on the animal's energy and, once I feel a connection, invite him or her to talk with me. Your animal may speak to me in a variety of ways--with words, images, sensations, and emotions--all of which I will share with you.

Your input is absolutely welcome and essential to a successful session. When you confirm or question (or laugh at) the information I get, you help to ensure that I am interpreting correctly and therefore that your animal's needs are addressed.

Because the input from your animal can take us down unexpected paths, I encourage you to make a list of questions before the session so you can get the essential answers you need.

Energy Work as Part of Animal Communication

When communication is not enough to solve a behavior or health problem, I use different types of energy work to find a solution.

In a Nature Healing Coning I work with universal intelligences to gain input and support for the animal on all levels--physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. The animal receives immediate balance and I receive concrete guidance (through words, sensations, or images) to do what is in the animal's highest good.

I also use Reiki--a "hands-on" practice in which I invite universal life force energy to pass through me into the animal--to open blocks that cause illness, fear, and emotional rigidity. Reiki can be very effective for animals but it can also be intense. If an animal is uncomfortable with direct Reiki, I am happy to perform distance Reiki--which is just as effective--from my home, after the communication session.
