Birthing Baby offers Bradley Method® Natural Childbirth Classes, Early Pregnancy Classes and Doula services in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas.

Sherry S. Rumsey, AAHCC is a Certified Childbirth Educator with the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth®. She has attended and successfully completed the following: - 1999 Bradley Method® Teacher Training - 2002 Bradley Method® Teacher Training. - Seattle Midwifery School’s Labor Support Course for Birth Doulas. Future training: - 2004 Bradley Method® B.I.R.T.H.S. Conference (where she hopes to obtain Bradley® certification in VBAC training and Breastfeeding) - UCLA Certified Lactation Educator (CLE) Training in October 2004 - Seattle Midwifery School When her children are a bit older, Sherry plans to pursue Midwifery Training to become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). She hopes to one day own and operate a freestanding birth center, serving families as a midwife at birth center births as well as home births.

Giving birth is a monumental event in a woman’s life. With education and preparation, it CAN be joyous and empowering. The impact of this experience forever changes a woman. I feel it is my calling in life to help as many women and babies as possible have safe and HAPPY BIRTH-DAYS!!
