Wendy is a registered nurse from New Zealand. She has for the past few years worked in paediatrics which here in England is known as “sick children’s nursing”. The first few letters after her name stand for New Zealand Registered Nurse. The rest of the letters are related to her training in massage. She has undergone extensive training in New Zealand, and has attained the highest qualification available in New Zealand. The coveted, New Zealand Association of Therapeutic Massage Practitioners Diploma in Therapeutic Massage. Now you see why it gets abbreviated! The ‘M’ in front of NZATMP stands for ‘member’. Wendy belongs to both the NZATMP and MINZI, which is the Massage Institute of New Zealand Incorporated. Before completing her Diploma, Wendy did certificates in massage with both of these organizations. Massage in New Zealand is governed by these two groups. Although now practising in England, Wendy remains a member of these two organisations and is governed by their codes of ethics. Since setting up practice in the UK, she has also been granted membership with IRMT, the International Register of Massage Therapists. This register, although international is based here in the UK. Wendy is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage. Wendy is also an Eternal Light Gaia Energy Healer. She has been attuned to the advanced level and is happy to now be able to offer in her practice this very gentle form of healing, akin to Reiki. Wendy is a LaStone therapist, trained in the original method as taught by founder Mary Hannigan. LaStone is a deeply relaxing and yet invigorating treatment including massage with Hot Basalt Lava Rocks & Cold Marble stones. It is a profoundly nurturing and spiritual experience to receive LaStone, it has to be tried to be believed! Wendy has a Diploma in Aromatherapy. She studied with ITHMA, the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. This training took place here in the UK and Wendy offers Aromatherapy treatments in her practice. Wendy also offers 'Bespoke Blends' for use at home, these are personally tailored Aromatherapy blends: Room Fragrances, Bath & Body Oils, Bath Oil Concentrates & Aromatic Blends for Burners. Wendy is happy to be commissioned to prepare Bespoke Blends for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.

Allow 30 minutes - £30. Take a Load Off: A half hour treatment, focusing on the common tension areas of back, neck & shoulders - £30. Pick & Mix: 45 minutes of your choice. Your choice of oils and areas covered. Back, neck, shoulders, scalp & face is a nice combination - £42. State of Bliss: Indulge yourself for an hour with an aromatic massage focusing on your tension areas, which will leave you feeling rested and refreshed - £50. Ambrosia for the Body: A wonderfully nurturing full body massage, with your personally tailored Bespoke Blend of essential oils. The treatment takes 90 minutes - £66. Sole to Soul: A luxurious treatment taking 2 hours. Starting with an aromatic foot soak in essential oils chosen to create your personalised Bespoke Blend.
