Born in the Ukraine and living in New York City for the past 16 years, Giten is licensed by the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy as a massage therapist and certified Breath Therapist. In addition to his certifications and licenses, Giten possesses over 12 years of experience in many forms of bodywork and yoga and has facilitated numerous breath groups and trainings in New York City and around the world.

A world traveler, who has studied Thai massage in Thailand and Ayurvedic massage in India, he has also been trained in a variety of meditations and healing techniques at Osho Multiversity in Pune, India, and Miasto Meditation Institute in Toscana, Italy. Included in these healing modalities are the Breath Energy intensive, Relationship Counseling and Sexual Awareness Counselor training.

In his spare time, Giten is a world music and trance DJ.
