After over 15 years of private practice specializing in injury and disabilty cases referred by nearly 200 physicians to my office. After treating an average of 28 to 32 patients a week (nearly 500 patient visits a month from my one facility I feel I have had the hands on experience to teach others facts, warnings, honesty, and ethics of billing insurance companies for our services. I did not learn from others. I learned it the hard way, experience, one step at a time. I proudly served as the Insurance Committee Chair for the Florida State Massage Therapy Association for 9 years. I am presently an approved provider for CEU's for NCBTMB & The Florida Board of Massage Therapy and continue to instruct massage therapists in Fl and on a National basis to accept physician referrals and on insuance billing techniques. Others teach insurance billing techniques and how you can make a lot of money, but I call on you to ask them for the PROOF of hands on experience that they profess to have!!

It is my goal to see that massage therapists are respected and appreciated by insurers as well as employer groups as the most effective first line of injury help once any pathology is ruled out by medical determinations. My goal is to see massage therapists be able to accept physician referrals and accept insurance for reimbursement for services and do it honestly and fairly to all involved.
